Science Test Review

Reveiwing for science test is hard. I've made lot's of studynotes on the digestive system and the respiratory system. The repiratory system is shaped like a tree; the trachea/windpipe is like the trunk;the bronchial tubes are like the branches;the alveoli are like the leaves. Red bloodcells trade carbon dioxide for oxygen in the alveoli. The wastes left in this system are carbon dioxide and water.

As for the digestive system food the food is broken down in the mouth mechanically by the teeth and chemically by saliva produced by the salivary glands. It goes down the esophagus and into the stomach which breaks it into chyme. In the small intestine the liver produces bile to break it down even more. The large intestine then squeezes the water out turning it into pheces and it is stored in the rectum and discarded out the anus.

WOW! Sure is a lot to study for. Wish me luck on the test!
